When choosing a cleaning provider, ensuring that they offer the services you are looking for is a no-brainer, but you should also consider how well they provide optional extras, and how easy it is to add more services to your contract.
Services Provided
Cleaning providers usually offer a standard service that includes general cleaning (sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, surface cleaning etc), but most will also provide optional extras such as waste removal, recycling, window cleaning, hygiene product removal and floor buffing.
Do they offer a range of options
What you need is going to change over time and you will want someone with the flexibility to quickly remove and add services to your contract. From the very beginning look for a cleaning service that can offer a greater range of services as you never know what your business cleaning needs are going to look like in a couple of year’s time!
Less is more
The less contractors you have to deal with, the more time you will have to focus on other areas. If you are having to call a dozen different services each time you need to pause, the less time you will get to focus on what really matters.
If you can have one single point of contact that looks after laundry, hygiene, rubbish, consumables etc, then you just have the one call to make.
Do they use trusted providers
A service provider is only as good as their subcontractors. Ideally your cleaning provider will offer all the services you might need in-house, but that can’t always be the case. If your cleaning provider does use sub-contractors, confirm who they will be and make sure they meet the standards you desire.
